Introduction to the project (Post by Hiya)

This year in the arts the music and art department are doing a collaborative project involving Indian mythology with Indonesian music and artwork. in this project we will create a shadow puppet show that will have gamelan music and art. we are going to take you through every part of us making this show with details on the lesson that we have. In this project we have modernized the Ramayana, a Indian cultural myth, to make it more understandable to the 21st century. we are working in groups of 9 which is our company called Ramen Noodle, and then we will be separated into music and art departments in which we will contribute equally to make the final project. We will be presenting this on Wednesday the 22nd of October to the primary school as a part of the world wide event called The Big Draw.
